I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone in the United States a happy 4th of July! Granted, most of us just see it as a day for fireworks, grilling, and a day off, but when the 13 colonies declared independence from British rule, it meant war and almost certain death for people who signed the declaration. Yet that terrible war led us to where we are today and I for one can’t imagine a better country on Earth in which to live. ^_^
So I hope you all have a great time today. I know I am, even though I’ll be working (but I’ll be earning double time, y’all).
